Calorie shifting is actually quite a good way to keep your metabolism on its toes as it constantly has to work to meet different goals. I frequently change the amount of calories I take in by 100-200 calories a day. It is also a great way of making sure you don’t put weight back on once you finish dieting as your metabolism is not then shocked by the sudden calorie increase.
